La Quinta Arts Festival:  March 1st-4th, 2018.  One of Southern California’s finest art festivals,  was ranked #1 in the Nation 2013 – 2015 and #3 in 2016 by the Art Fair SourceBook.

Pro Tennis at BNP Paribas Open:  Pro Tournament March 5-18th, 2018.  I have attended a couple games a year over the last 6 years.  If you are a Tennis fan, This is a cant miss event.  The venue was great when it initially opened but it improves every year.  It is World Class.  I can confirm that Larry Ellison has spent lasciviously in Indian Wells.

Desert Art Festival:  Contemporary and southwest art work in acrylic, collage, etchings, mixed media, oils, pencil, watercolors, digital and traditional photography.  March 17 & 18 Frances Stevens Park in PS.

Palm Desert Food & Wine Fest: Food, Beer and Wine tastings March 23-25th.  On El Paseo in Palm Desert.

Indian Wells Art Festival:  Up to 200 Artists from around throughout the nation and abroad.  Beautiful setting at the World Famous Indian Wells Tennis Garden. March 30 – April 1st 2018.

Coachella Fest:  Consider Coachella in April 2018.

Stagecoach: April 27th-29th 2018.  Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Eric Church, Willie Nelson, Tim McGraw, Merle Haggard and many others have played this weekend festival.

Palm Springs Power Baseball:  June – July we have Collegiate level baseball in Palm Springs.  The games are held at the Power Stadium “The old Angels Springs Training field” on Sunrise and Baristo.

Palm Springs Pride Week: Free admission to Pride Festival downtown Palm Springs Nov. 2nd-4th 2018

Car Auction:  McCormick’s Car Auction Nov 17th -19th, 2017.  In downtown Palm Springs.  Buy or Sell your own car in the auction.  2018 dates haven’t been released.  I’ve seen cars go as low as $2800.

Hot Air Balloon Festival:  Nov 17th-19th 2017 in Cathedral City. Jazz music and Gala. PHOTOS! 2018 Dates haven’t been released.

Palm Springs Festival of Lights: Parade held Dec. 2nd 2017 downtown Palm Springs at 5:45pm.  Its a small town parade that last about 2 hours in the early evening.  2018 dates haven’t been released.

Indio Tamale Fest:   In December downtown Indio hosts over 300 vendors selling food or crafts, 5 stages of live music and beer gardens.

Palm Springs Buzz:  Did you know downtown Palm Springs has a free Trolley.  Click the link for scheduled stops.  It usually picks up every 15 minutes.

Palm Springs Chamber:  Everything Palm Springs.  Parks, Utilities, Directories etc.

Back Street Art District:  Besides some galleries on the Strip you can find some galleries over here at the Art District.  Next to BMW and the Parker hotel about 5 minutes from downtown.

Palm Springs Theatre:  Local Live Theater.

Sunnylands at The Annenberg Estate:  In Palm Desert experience what some call the White House of the West.   During the Annenbergs’ lifetime, eight U.S. presidents, including EisenhowerNixonFordReaganClintonGeorge H. W. BushGeorge W. Bush and Barack Obama visited the estate. Other noted people who have roomed here include the Shah of Iran who was invited to seek refuge at Sunnylands. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip visited for lunch, and Prince Charles made occasional weekend visits.

The Art Place:  13 Boutique Art shops offering Art and Furnishings.  Nice spot with lots of variety.

Palm Springs Air Museum:  See WW2 Jets and other Aircraft from the mid 20th Century.  Near restaurants.
